I would seek specialist advice rather than someone you don't know. PS no disrespect to the person as they appear to be trying to be helpful. The I already settled comment could be because their settlement was a couple of thousand or they had plenty of money.

You are not alone there are quite a few with large settlement offers pre the September Loan Charge being applied.

Maybe join LCAG. Loan Charge Action Group. They are still looking to either litigate or at least work with MPs to get sensible settlement arrangements
