Its pretty straightforward to use... it effectively provides a GUI for sending telnet commands to your router that allow you to tweak performance and establish a potentially faster connection if your line will support it. There is a 'sweet spot' between performance and line stability. On my line, thats about 19Mb-20Mb...

Neat tool. I have a speedtouch as well. Not so lucky with the bandwidth though. 7.1Mbit down 844k up

It's a bit like watching a Steven Segal movie. He talks very quietly, so you have to turn the volume up, then the explosions start and you have to ring for an ambulance because your ears are bleeding.
Do you think people who pack the confectionary into boxes at fudge making factories tell people what they do for a living?

Depending on which shows you like, there's no reason to watch them with the adverts or when the broadcasters decide to show them. Things like Lost, Sopranos, Top Gear etc are all ripped to Usenet by some lovely people within hours of them being shown. For example, Entourage (excellent show btw) starts on ITV2 on Sunday, but in the US, they're halfway through series 3. I downloaded Series 1 and 2, stuck them on my modded Xbox, and can watch them when I want with no bloody adverts. With the adverts cut out, this 30-min show cuts down to a 270MB file. For that sort of size, and with bandwidth going up, then it's entirely possible to stream shows and charge for them, which I'd happily pay for. Things like The Sopranos, a couple of quid a show would be money well spent for me, but there's nothing like that in place, so Usenet it is.
