Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

      heh heh.

If you wanted to create a hot month, my plan would be to take data corrupted by Urban Heat Island, homogenise it with the rural measurements to heat them up, then take the hot results to infill the thousand of kilometers that have no measurements at all, probably a third of the globe.

Then I would hope to hell that nobody compares that to the actual base readings that were taken. Because if they did not tally up, that would prove that these records are being tampered with by crooks, charletans and con men.

Fail. NASA discard non-rural stations when calculating trends.

Fail. The grey areas are those with no data.

Been done. The raw and adjusted data are all freely available and have been endlessly scrutinised by those looking for nefarious intent. Nobody has ever come up with diddly-squat.

            pj quotes this

'The past 12 months—October 2013–September 2014—was the warmest 12-month period among all months since records began in 1880, at 0.69°C (1.24°F) above the 20th century average'

then when I point out that the sattelites record disagrees, he links to a graph at wood for trees that proves my point in spades.

2013 - 14 are NOWHERE NEAR the hottest. h/t to pj

Let us just screw more money out of people to pour into the coffers of more people to tell us more and more about how bad the problem is without them having the slightest intention of solving it.

There is also no proof that this years weather is attributable to man made climate change.

Its called cherry-picking. Here is all the data from 1900, with the amount the denialists want to draw your attention to highlighted...

In this instance it's probably someone who sides with the less than 1% of experts that say nothing man is doing is ******* up our climate.

They look very much like ostriches with their heads buried in the sand, except this peculiar breed chooses to hide its head up its own anus.
