On the basis of this tread I've saved a fortune over the years. my watch broke in 1988 and I've not bothered with one sinceRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

I spent $100 on mine about 12 years ago. Some time back a colleague (sporting an 800 quid <whatever - I've forgotten - TAG, was it?>) sneered at my timepiece and said "You can tell a lot about a man by his wristwatch".
If I could have been bothered I'd have challenged him to produce his findings on that particular study.Comment

I'm wearing one of those proper cheap watches that are given out in goodie bags. Rubber strap, tiny digital display.
Youngest got it during a swimming gala and asked why I wasnt wearing it.Comment

I wouldn't enjoy wearing a quartz. They're not much cheaper eitherComment

Probably what looks like the second hand is actually the stopwatch, and one of the little dials is the actual seconds, and the other two dials are the minutes & hours for the stopwatch.
My particular seamaster doesn't have any extra dials.
