Stick him upside down in a wheelie bin, it will probably take him ages to escape if he's that much of a weakling
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

What kind of wimpy devs need a DBA to run their dev environment for them?

I used to give them to the devs on the condition they didn't bother the support team with any issues. If it gets trashed they either get it flattened and a vanilla build put on it, or they fix their own tulip. Main thing is the devs don't get their grubby hands on any test environments, let alone production.

Could you try running xp_cmdshell in the SQL client remotely, to run a command to change the time?
If he's that anally stupid then there's a good chance he has forgotten to disable access to extended stored procedures to users..

How many places have you worked at then? less than 2 perhaps?

Every company works differently and has it's own policies, it's not like I can break through the permissions settings and sort things out myself (well not without being terminated anyway...)
