Thames Water are cutting 25% of the workforce

I guess with no water, they don't need the staff, even with record profits.

In June, Thames Water announced a 31% rise in pre-tax profits to £346.5m.

Ofwat tells TW they have to invest an extra £150 million over 5 years to replace leaky pipes.

      That's £30 million per year.

TW says right, we'll cut our workforce. 300 jobs per year for 5 years.

Nice one Ofwat! Or is it OfTwat?
