As for the secondary question, I don't regard a contractor disappearing, leaving projects delayed or at risk, as good. As such, in my eyes, any contractor who leaves mid-contract would fail the question...

Mind you, if the OP leaves, it's unlikely to leave the project delayed or at risk. So perhaps, in a curious, slightly circular way, he's doing them a favour by bailing out early, and therefore is a good contractor - or at least as good a contractor as he can be.

How so. This idea of bailing mid contract was promoted by NLUK and EEK and others jumped on the bandwagon. I only ever bailed mid contract on 2 occasions - on both occasions Client co asked for me back. The other times I have completed contracts. Also if you do it in your early years you realise it is not good practice and learn from your mistakes (everybody learns from mistakes). So if you are jumping on the same band wagon then you are a er too....
