The problem is helmet, you get caught up in it all like someone watching a Punch and Judy show and get all frothy and ranty. "He's behind you!". Heart attack material. It's all smoke and mirrors. Let it go. Focus on something else you'd like to do. Like flower arranging. Or sudoku.
You did read it, didn't you?

So Nigel, the truth is you are actually no different to all the other political spivs in Westminster and are out to take as much for yourself as you can it would seem
You are DA or one of his sycophants and I claim my 5 Guineas
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

No, I didn't read it, hence my point. It's all bulltulip sensationalism. All the info we get that shape our views is from newspapers and MSM. It's all bollocks. It's all irrelevant. Ignore it and go do something more useful instead.

Now that I can agree with, at least you know what you're getting

I met my local MRLP rep. He was a really nice bloke. I particularly loved the way the more "serious" politicos made all the extra effort to either ignore him or scorn at him. I'm voting for him at the next election, just so I can tell that ****** in the blue or red shirt what a massive cock he is.

It was like my local Councillor on hearing my views on a recent controversial planning permission court case saying "you seem to know a lot about this, you should consider joining us" and me turning round and saying straight to his face: "Join you? Join you? No, I intend to send the whole system crashing into obsolescence".

          His expression was priceless!

I suspect It's been a closed shop in Politics so long they have no idea how to handle the independents.

I think that was an olive branch and an opportunity to make a difference.

And herein lies the problem with politics: believing that one man can make a difference. You can't. It's an all encompassing machine that's self-serving. it encourages and attracts all those that are self-serving. You become one with it. It must be destroyed and not from within.

I doubt she'd have the success nowadays unlike she did 35 years ago.
