Flying into a building during the night when no-one is at home? Doh. And a number of pi$$ed off cleaners.

Further to my previous reply, it needn't have been a genuine attempt to crash into the Kuala Lumpur twin towers, only some flight deviation that was flagged up as a possible attempt, and for whatever reason the pilots didn't respond to warnings or change course.

Because it's probably a legal requirement for military air traffic to identify itself to air traffic control when using civilian airspace?

Either way, it's an irrelevant question because you aren't looking at what the ATC people saw.. It's not just ATC that the "other plane" was identifying itself to, assuming there was another plane, it's anyone with an ADS-B receiver. You can buy one for less than £150.

As regards the transmission itself, it could probably be spoofed by the Russians / Queen / North Korea I expect.

It was hurtling in the same "plane" as the ground.

This vid is quite inneresting. Apparently the craft was spotted on the west of Malasia some hours later. It momentarily blipped its transponder on.

I've looked at flight tracker directly and I can't see any military plane (the missing flight itself goes red if you mouse over it and the flight number changes to the callsign, perhaps this has confused you) but the data does show the ADS-B reporting a sudden change from 37,000ft to 0ft around 17:20 or so. There is no report of supersonic speed as far as I can see. It seems to be consistent with a rapid fall to earth or something going amiss with the ADS-B unit or the avionics it was connected to, or perhaps it was just switched off.

Of course without access to the raw data you don't know how frequently those ADS-B messages were picked up either.

Wow. This is incredible. I had this the other week with supreme levels of thickness.

1) Start video.
2) Forward to 2:18.
3) Press play.
4) Watch the yellow plane, to the right of the red plane, suddenly shoot off at supersonic spead ACROSS the ocean.

I can't do much more other than drive to your house, set this up for you and point on the screen while controlloing your eyeballs.

Please for the love of Pete do this before commenting further as you are just talking utter drivel.
