It certainly seems to have a better grasp of Putin's motivations than the more hyperbolic articles that have appeared in the western press.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

It's a lovely story. However from what I have read the eventual outcome is designed to collapse the dollar.

It would, if so desired, be easy to collapse the dollar with appropriate monetary policy. Why would the powers that be go to these lengths to do it? And why collapse it anyway?

What you're saying doesn't even pass muster when basic common sense is applied.

I see. So any thoughts on this situation in the Ukraine being a false flag?

As I've pointed out, the EU & NATO have been expanding relentlessly eastward since the end of the cold war. Recently this has included waving big financial carrots at the government in Kiev, just as the Russians do.

Should the Ukraine join the EU and NATO (membership has been on the table for a while) this would jeopardise Russia's strategic port on the black sea, which is clearly not something they will take lying down.

That I think is all the explanation you need. I think Putin was quite possibly caught on the back foot by what happened, which is why troop numbers in the Crimean base had to be rapidly boosted from 9000 to 16-20000 (still less than the 25000 they are apparently allowed to have stationed there mind) and he had to do a bit of emergency willy waving along the border to persuade the interim government in Ukraine that he was serious about defending Russian interests (which is their ongoing military presence, not the Russian speaking population as they have claimed)

As regards the dollar collapse nonsense you have to ask yourself who would gain from it?

It would push the dollar denominated oil price up which would benefit the Russians but piss off the Chinese, it may also further destabilise European economies perhaps reducing the demand for Russian gas, so I don't think the Russians would actually want that.

The Americans might benefit, they are somewhat insulated from energy prices now shale gas is coming online and a reduction in the value of the dollar would make homegrown products and their exports more competitive. OTOH it would likely increase their substantial trade deficit.

Either way, if the US wanted to devalue their currency they could do so via monetary policy. Starting a war in Europe is actually going to be counterproductive in that regard as people tend to shift to the dollar as a store of value in times of crisis.

                Only if you're paranoid
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It is quite impressive to see how much of a grip the Western meeja and their propaganda has on folks.

What is your take on it? Are you still holding onto the idea (picked up from western media BTW, albeit non mainstream) that it's all a conspiracy by the British empire or some other shadowy force to start WW3 and reduce the world to rubble?

Well to be fair, I already said I get to pick and choose what I believe, and I also already said that I don't take everything that Mr Larouche says on face value.

Although I do believe in a globalist agenda to bring in a single world currency, and this latest skirmish is part of delivering that. Happy now?
