Also surfing other news sites such as China today and Aljazeera you get a bit more of a balanced view.

Just relying on what is spewed in the western papers is never enough.
Well yes so i base it on common sense and probability. What are the chances of a global agreement on population reduction when they can't agree on trade tarrifs? There may be local population control policies like in china but in other places there is active encouragement of growth. So it's clearly a nonsense.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Not so fast Dood. Eugenics has been around for over 40 years as a concept, many books written on the subject. Also studies carried out on lab rats eating GM crops. The 3rd generation had genetic mutations and were sterile.

We need a tinfoil hat smiley.

It's been around longet than that. The point is there is a big difference between possible and probable. A conspiracy to reduce the global population isn't very probable regardless of what tidbits of science you think make it possible.

Utopia has been around as a concept a long time as well, there are many books written on the subject, but it isn't very likely either.

Fair point, and well made. I concede this one.

11:46: BREAKING: Britain has summoned Ukraine's ambassador to London on Thursday after violent clashes in Kiev killed at least 21 civilians today, Reuters say.

"We are calling in the ambassador and calling on him to stop the violence," said a foreign ministry spokeswoman.
How typically british. Hargreaves, the Ukrainian ambassador will be arriving at 4. We will take tea in the drawing room.

Needs more than an ambassador flying to the UK to have a cup of tea
