If you have 2 phones, in service, that you own, why does it matter which one gets the SMS?

When you lose or forget one of them. I would have had the same problem if I'd been working away from home and hadn't bothered to take the old phone.

Bit of a pain of you have business cards, website, copies of CV with several agencies etc. I've had the same number since I got my phone back in the 90s.

Same here for the same reasons - I think it looks really tulip when you end up with outdated numbers out there. And it's zero effort to port a number.
