I was quoted something astronomical for putting down a concrete base and opted to build a small decking platform for my shed. Easy enough to do, quite fulfilling and if done properly will outlast the shed.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras. -

Not too fussed about cost if it's just a small bit - will just pay the man what he's asking. (And might see if he can put a concrete base down for a decent shed while he's at it).
