    Which did not reference whether the ring was being offered, only that a person was a fool to let their ex partner keep the ring. Hence, I asked how you got the ring back if she wanted to keep it.

    However, if you actually meant "if you're offered it back and refuse you're a fool" then I follow the logic although I am not sure it is a clear cut as that.
