Obviously anecdotal but I suspect if we did a correlation between status & travel it might be interesting.

No, I just asked some questions. You said 'it's amazing how many asylum seekers go back for holidays'. I asked how many, you said you know 3 families; isn't it reasonable to want to know the details of their circumstances before claiming they're going back for holidays?
