--- Edit: Just looked this dude up - there was me thinking he was someone who would have approached diversity with a swish of a sword and apparently he was a great 'Liberal Thinker'. Big Jessie more like.Comment

True. It's all a bit binary in areas where the nuances of the situation can be more important than the statement itself. For instance, it says 'violence against the state is terrorism' or some such; I'd say that depends largely on the state. Fighting against an extremely authoritarian state like North Korea or Nazi Germany could hardly be called terrorism and doesn't require you to be a 'leftie'. Likewise, do I have to completely disagree that Occupy is a great grass roots movement that has important things to say? I think Occupy actually does have important thigns to say, even if I don't agree with a lot of what they say; they express justified anger at the way many things are going, but perhaps don't offer solutions and misdirect some of their anger.Originally posted by vetran View Post+1

I think the problem is that left-right wing politics isn't all there is. I actually have quite strong libertarian views which pull my score to the left according to that quiz. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
