      I used to use vim when I went through a Linux phase and abandoned GUI and worshiped the command line. But then I realised .NET pays more.

        Yeah the same here. Then I realised that .Net is just too stressful and boring and I earn just as much cash doing web sites so I've chucked out the PC and bought a Mac so I get command line, decent applications and some web work

          My next PC will be a mac if I can dual boot and run xp or vista fully. We have a mac in work and the interface is amazingly good, and beautiful.
