You'll have to put in a blend of eastern European flags to acknowledge that England/Wales will be 50% populated by people there by the time Scotland becomes a tax free utopia.

Seriously, if the Scots do vote for independence and national flags are to be changed, I'd say their flag should be a union jack with a thistle in the middle, and the British flag a union jack with a lion or the usual three lions passant guardant in the middle (and the Welsh could have yet another union jack, with a leek in the middle ).
