Shouldn't you give the good example when trying to teach?Originally posted by AtWYou should try learn how to argue your view without resorting to name calling, but then again its probably best for you not to because it makes it easier to sport a retard.I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.Comment

Here is a good counter example to one of the axioms: basically one of the axioms state that the opposite of a good thing is a bad thing. So if you can find a good thing and it's opposite is also a good thing then the axiom is flawed.Originally posted by FranckoShouldn't you give the good example when trying to teach?
A good thing: Mountains are high. It's opposite: Valleys are low.
But you can also say:
A good thing: Valleys are low. It's opposite: Mountains are high.

Good and Bad are relative things, say Chico's favourite humanist Hitler had different view on those things than most people.Comment

Who says that if god is real he must be benign? Maybe he's a right bastard like most gods apart from the Christian one. Or maybe there are lots of gods like the Romans/Greeks believed. Much more in keeping with the CUK free market philosophy, the single all powerful god sounds like socialism to me.bloggoth

I much prefer those Gods - for starters when you make sacrifice to them you just give them bones and keep the meet, thanks to Prometeus. Plus these Gods are much more like human - Zeus shags eathly women and this allows him to be kept in touch. IMO all Gods that came after these are much more opressive and pocessive.Originally posted by xoggothRomans/Greeks believed.Comment

In the Greek mindset Zeus and co. came after the other gods, such as Gaea etc. Zeus himself was the son of Cronus who was the son of Uranus who was the son of Gaea, and also her husband... Also there is much more of the "scratch my back I'll scratch yours" mentality. i.e. if you give a sacrifice to a god, then you expect something in return and as each god had multiple uses you'd give a sacrifice to the usefulness required. So if you wanted rain you'd sacrifice to the rain from zeus, if you were making a contract you'd scarifice to the keeper of oaths zeus, quite often in different places.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

"Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder characterized by tics -- involuntary, rapid, sudden movements or vocalizations that occur repeatedly in the same way. "
This (if true) should not be affect your judgement that can be inferred from your posts on this board.
While I am sympathetic to anyone suffering from any illness (apart from self-inflicted) it should not be a blank cheque for saying or doing anything: if you can't handle responses on this board then don't post.Comment
