There is no need whatsoever to go to India for skilled people.
We are not going to India for skilled people.
We are going to India to get bums on seats for commoditised work.
    It's completely wrong.
But my point is that those who feel challenged by Bobs should skill up.
And if you can't you are doomed. It's a hard world.
    Hard Brexit now!

There is a skills shortage because few employers can be bothered to train their staff up.

It's far cheaper getting someone already trained up then bother investing in training someone at 16, 18 or 21.

There are plenty of people around who are intelligent but don't have paper qualifications.

There is a skills shortage at the price employers want to pay
You will find that most of the companies that bleat about skills shortages are the ones with the most guarded internal recruitment processes. These people have no idea of skills markets beyond what they are told by their internal recruiters.

My area which is life sciences and health econ needs in general a minimum MSc.
And there are many PhDs. If you train someone up to that level it would take years, your company might be bust by then.
Basically its up to people to skill up - there are jobs for those who do.
And yet I still see articles in the press about how its better not to go to university I guess its these morons who moan most about people stealing their jobs.

What I don't do is say "woe is me" and look for scapegoats.
Also, my education was good enough that I don't have to worry about Bobs, like you do.
Perhaps you should examine yourself a bit more, rather than unintelligently blaming other people.
I have more experience in this field than you have you arrogant tosser. Who the tulip do you think you are assuming you are more experienced and better educated than everyone else?

You have diverted a sensible discussion about serious issues into everyone laughing at your self centred view of the world.

If you actually listened and engaged you would see that your view of what I have said is badly mistaken.

Fantastic. You can become the head of IT in some big corp and start reversing outsourcing then.

Presumably since you claim to have more experience you are even tuliptier. FFS with such poor logical skills no wonder we have to get Bobs in
