Energy customers "not cash cows"

You've still not proven me wrong. All that attachment says is the SE paid more as a region. Of course it did, there's more people there. But per capita, no.

Just received a letter from Southern Electric/SSE - one of many recent letters trying to reassure their customer base following the price hikes.
The opening title of the letter reads:
"Aiming higher - because you matter to us"
Yeah, about 8.2% higher you ***tards, there's no need to brag about it
The letter is actually about customer service, but I just thought that was seriously poor judgement from the customer service manager who wrote it.Comment

I realise that being from the provinces you probably find the geography of our country slightly confusing, but London and the SE isn't the UK. your graph shows the UK as a whole (which includes Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as the North West, North East and various other places you may have heard of in myths and legends)Originally posted by scooterscot View PostYou've still not proven me wrong. Having dealt with remedial geography, lets do some remedial maths. London and the SE is the only region that made a net contribution. That means that, however many people there are, the per capita contribution was > 0. Scotland was a net drain, which means that however many people there are, their per capita contribution was < 0.
Of course if you had anything about you then you would have taken those aggregate figures and divided them by the number of people to produce data to prove your point. Then you would have STFU as you realised you were wrong.
Apologies for the lack of pictures but I can't be bothered to express this in a graphical form as all of the evidence shows you won't understand that either. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

You should have switched and fixed as soon as they announced their price hike.Originally posted by CheeseSlice View PostJust received a letter from Southern Electric/SSE - one of many recent letters trying to reassure their customer base following the price hikes.

Ha yes I got one of these - it is about customer service but in my head they are just trying to justify their prices..Originally posted by CheeseSlice View PostJust received a letter from Southern Electric/SSE - one of many recent letters trying to reassure their customer base following the price hikes.

No evidence = lost argument.Originally posted by doodab View PostApologies for the lack of pictures but I can't be bothered to express this in a graphical form as all of the evidence shows you won't understand that either.
The SE / City have bankrupted the UK for generations with casino gambling. Call that a net contribution? It makes articles such as
London's taxes prop up the rest of the UK: One pound in every five earned in the capital funds the rest of the country
utterly redundant.
It's amazing in the attachment you sent it can argue "More of us are winners than losers" considering the divide between the few rich and the many poor is at the widest it's ever been."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". So you admit that you've lost then?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostNo evidence = lost argument.
Here is a link to the ONS "blue book" which has all the evidence you need to prove to yourself that you are talking out of your wee Scottish arse.

And how many tax payers are there in ScotlandOriginally posted by scooterscot View PostWhy do people in London complain about subsidises to Scotland when tax payers in Scotland pay more per head then any other UK taxpayer over and above the subsidises they receive? Or is math not your strong point?
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

You do realise that when it refers to "winners" it means "places subsidsed by London & the SE" don't you? Or did you not actually read it properly?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostIt's amazing in the attachment you sent it can argue "More of us are winners than losers" considering the divide between the few rich and the many poor is at the widest it's ever been. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you.
