We bought a force feedback steering wheel for MS jr mk 3. It's great as long as you've got something stable to clamp it to. Otherwise it removes you from the sofa.

In my opinion there are too many unknowns in this field at the moment.
HDMI 2, only just certified, UHD not formalised and neither of the consoles support these anyway.
So maybe wait for the next level PS4 which should have it's act together.
Edit - Just read the "What PS4 doesn't do" article and that is very frustrating, no USB media, no CD audio, a LOT of restrictions.
