That's a good contract that. 50 workers. His margin has to be at least a quid an hour so that's £2k per week.

Fookin lazy he just put an ad at the Jobcentre though and then blame then.

I suspect that he was asked at 12:30 by the customer, put it to everything he could get his hands on including relatives and mates down the Pub. He says he got 10 by himself.

The Job centre didn't turn up anything, now whether they tried is not mentioned.

I assume the company has tried the job centre but were willing to pay extra to use an agent. This does tend to say quite a lot about the efficiency of the Job centre.

yes £2k a week minus holidays, sick pay & Employers NI. Its probably more like £2 an hour.

not defending his behaviour, he sounds like a right moron.

JSA has a computer system for finding jobs - here They've had it for years.

If he didn't inform the Job Centre in enough time - and four hours is really not enough - then they couldn't upload the jobs in time.

Due to Nu Liebour government cuts they got rid of staff who actually did anything worthwhile and just have box tickers so if it's not on the computer system then...

I saw jobs from Argos and a few other shops recruiting for Christmas jobs at the beginning of August.

In short the guy and the customer are morons.

Quite possibly but if I had a business on my doorstep that annually had 50 or so jobs coming up for my unemployed people I think I would know their phone number!

It may be that the client or the agency are responsible for the late notice but the Job centre (that are free) weren't asked by the customer, speaks volumes.

Yeah but you and me are efficient and logical people. If we weren't we would work for the job centre, in HR or as a pimp for minimum wage jobs.

I mean the client or recruitment agent didn't even bother advertising the jobs abroad they were so disorganised.....

I tried phoning the job centre to tell them I had a job. They said "why are you phoning us then?"
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
