Tell him you'll send him your CV but you need two references
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Rubbish. They are almost interchangeable and some dictionaries even define one as the other.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

That may be true now, but etymologically speaking the two are distinct.

A bounder is someone who behaves badly but knows no better, because they have crossed the boundary of class. A cad is someone who behaves badly but should know better because they are of an upper class who should behave better.

A cad used to be a jumped-up member of the lower classes who was guilty of behaving as if he didn't know that his lowly origin made him unfit for having sexual relationships with well-bred women. [Anthony West, "H.G. Wells: Aspects of a Life," 1984]
          Bounder
          Cad

            Distinct, maybe. Mutually exclusive no.

That seems to be saying the direct opposite of the reference you quoted.
