Many years ago I was an electronic engineer, lashing prototypes together, designing PCBs, chips and housing using CAE/CAD/CAM and all that stuff.

I loved all that and I'd consider going back to it, but I've forgotten a lot of it and the industry has presumably moved on quite a bit since my day. I'd have to go back to college, probably zeity's.

He'd probably be delighted if a non-idiot turned up for his course.

I'd love to have been a travel writer, or sports journalist, or maybe, even in my wildest dreams, a racing driver.

I think it would have to be something to do with cars though, maybe tuning professionally, or working for a racing team in a technical capacity.

I applied for a job at Arrows once. Didn't get it.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

That might have been short lived. I had an interview with Honda F1, shortly before they pulled out and made half the workforce redundant. I never did hear back.

I'm a software engineer, I don't consider myself "in IT".
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Maybe a sports coach/fitness trainer/quack who sells exercise programmes on a shopping channel.
