I tried to get my wife into it because I think she'd really like it. Unfortunately she watched the episode with the bathtub (S1E2) and was put off as "it's too gory". I told her that wasn't typical of the show but then she watched another one and it just happened to be another gory one (can't remember what, possibly the end of S4)

Bit late to the party on this, just started watching it at the weekend and on S1 EP4.

So far enjoying it BUT my wife is not so keen after the first few episodes. Have told her to keep with it. Is it just her not getting it, or does it move up a gear at some point ??

I think it improves towards the end of S1 and keeps up the quality.

My GF loved it !
