There is a reason why the plane is called a Tulipolev and the airline is AeroFlop...I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment

I think greed is a terrible thing, and one of the reasons I haven't felt an awful lot of sorrow for the contractors who get murdered in Iraq, etc. I know how much money is on offer for these contracts, but the price I put on my life, is much higher.
I do hope he changes his mind, for the plane will be the last of his worries.Comment

FerMogadishu itself is much safer than it was. It's under govt control and Al Shebab have been pushed out. I wouldn't go though. I had an agent contact me about an Oracle role in Baghdad a few years back. It was paying about 5-10% more than I was earning in the UK.Originally posted by Old Hack View PostI know how much money is on offer for these contracts, but the price I put on my life, is much higher.

I was offered a senior role in Iraq, planning their new infrastructure. £1800 a day, all in, plus £60 per diem expenses, 3 months on, 3 months off. Tempted for about the 10 seconds before I could see my new born baby in her cot.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI had an agent contact me about an Oracle role in Baghdad a few years back.
