So the recent trip to Gatwick north worked a charm. The chap comes along in the 4x4, I sign at pick-up bay, through my suitcase in to the back and drive away. That's service.

Smeg that's the rain on and I was just about to go out for my körner eck.

But shocking service for a rental firm that doesn't provide car seats!
Not entirely surprising though, there's probably some rules shoved through by New Liebour that require them to send 95% of their staff on 18 week residential courses to allow them to supply a child seat or booster seat thing, no doubt if the parents bring their own there's a different set of rules.

Can't blame a company for covering their own arse in these days of litigation obsession.

Yes maybe but business is business, and you're either in it to make money or

But what if it snows whilst I'm in Cumbria? I've seen the BBC news when the bad weather comes, the UK shuts down. Everybody over here is talking about it, you only dare go with the proper equipment.

            Oh for @£$£@ -

Really the country is going mad. I've got the debit card out, £800, ready for the hire, and oh I need a child seat - torpedo...

Looks interesting. She's 2 & 1/2 - she likes the vehicle height too as the countryside passes by.

A Range rover sport is not a proper 4x4 (its ground clearance will be too low) and for the record if it snows the last thing you want is a git panzer with 20" racing wheels and grippy summer tyres. Last time it seriously snowed over here my Saab front wheel drive did as well as my V8 Discovery 3. So if you just want to look like yet another Manc WAG then be my guest the New RR Sport is great for people that own white stilettos and think champagne comes in yellow plastic but you dont need a 4x4 to drive round on a road....

Bit too young for the Boostapak, my youngest is three but a massive three (he's taller than his 6 year old sister) so next time we should be good to use these

While I certainly don't approve of the "Apprentice" connection, that design is rather inspired.

I honestly have no idea what that means, or was meant to say.
