If there was bullying, she deserves compensation - I'm not sure what her salary was, but £800k for a highly paid City worker is not much - that might be less than her yearly bonus.Comment

If the allegations are true as the Court found, then I think the Bank should pay as they neglected to do anything about it. If the allegations are not true then the Bank should still pay because the have been so stupid and negligent in employing her in the first place. How many times have you seen company’s employ persons who your gut instinct tells you this person is not right and there will be trouble and it turns out to be true?HEALTH WARNING. Right well I don't know about you lot but I'm off to have a few pints around Tower Hamlets and look for the senistive bird with black hair drinking champagne, then give a bit of the old yorkshire charm and get her to put me up for the rest of my contract in return for sexual favours (before you ask yes I have seen her picture and I've done a lot worse.)
Then whilst having my feet under the table, fleece the bitch for as much as I can before I p*ss off leaving her destitute.
Ok so I'm dreaming however if that's bullying **** knows whats going on, why she just didn't invite the 4 birds for a drink then batter them with a bar stool I don't know, we are going too soft in this country.Comment

Seems a bit OTT but then again if she was paid £100k per year as I've read elsewhere, and that's her basic then maybe it wasn't quite as much as it appears.
Bizarre thing about it is it was a bunch of other women who were the 'oppresors'.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

That's what I thought.
Bird works in a department as a general secretary.
Staff tease her, call her names and ignore her.
She goes to a tribuneral and gets awarded £800K for the terrible pchychological damage.
Pathetic.Comment

Pathetic.
Naomi Branston, an employment specialist at Taylor Wessing, said that the £640,000 award for loss of future earnings was not actually that large, since Ms Green was only 36 and was earning £100,000 a year.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith
