I always enjoy the arguments of this protagonist. On one hand, Scotland is a burden holding back the UK economy with aid & benefits drain.

On the other it is part of the union that must be saved.

Absolutely not. I hope you lot vote for independence. But you won't because you know where your bread is buttered.
      Hard Brexit now!

It would be a good laugh watching the People's Republic of Salmondia having a go at it.

Yes the bread and butter employs many Scots in the south because they can't find the suitable skilled and educated individuals at home

I've spoken to many a Tory, father-in-law is one, "there's no reason why Scotland cannot manage it's own affairs"

Fear of the unknown is all that's holding back a landslide yes vote.

You mean the Scots are excellent sandwich makers?

Scotland can't even agree among its own people what constitutes Scotland; the Orkney Islanders and Shetlanders are largely anti-independence.

To be fair, unlike Lord Ha Ha, all the Scots I've worked with have been very competent.
But then those ones are the products of the best unis and so don't have to go and be incompetent gasterbeiter in a foreign country.

They could always turn Scotland into a private army and hire all the neds out to America as cannon fodder whenever they need boots on the ground

Perhaps Scotland still has a future

Says a lot when you can't find someone to make a sandwich!

Talking to Jim the other day, he says he's making Sandwiches in London for £35 a pop, selling them to zany IT types.
