    I've just discovered that

    this PA amplifier/mixer thingie that I bought is solidly mono...

    Bummer.

    Just as well it belongs to the college then...

    Now what shall I do with the redundant loudspeaker, I wonder...

    And not only is it solidly mono, it sounds like a piece of tulipe with obvious crossover artifacts and no discernable current limiting.

    Another brilliant Maplin purchase. Not.
