The same Kerry who has just used a picture of corpses from the Iraq war to proved Assads guilt in Syria ?Originally posted by darmstadt View PostOkie dokie, so they've now told us that Sarin was the gas used (although the UN inspectors said it would probably take a couple of weeks to verify that fully) but they still can't prove who did it and I for one would rather than proving what type of gas was used, prove who used the gas, although they're pretty certain it was Assad: JOHN KERRY: Sarin Gas Was Used In Syria - Business Insider

Does really feel like the world standing waiting to see what America is going to do.
If they do nothing then the West continues to shrink into oblivion, and seems weak.
The do do something and it's war without a cause, what would be the result of a conflict?"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

America has changed it's mind. It is going to Congress, which is what we did.
Maybe We and Cameron will come out of this smelling of bloody roses. Britain leads the world
hurra for parliament.

That would be cool, perhaps our glorious leader will start thinking for himself and act accordingly without Americas permission."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

CMD has done exactly what he said he would, which is tell us what he believes and why, let parliament vote and respected their decision. I'm fairly sure Obama wouldn't have asked congress if CMD had just said "yes, we're in", but as the leader of the self anointed beacon of freedom & democracy that is the US, Obama has little choice but to follow suit.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View PostAmerica has changed it's mind. Whether congress says yes or no, as long as Obama respects their decision it will do more to strengthen democracy in the middle east than any number of tomahawks raining down upon them due to presidential decree would have done, because we'll have led by example, and shown the leaders of these nascent democracies that being in power doesn't equate to getting your own way all of the time.
Whatever the final decision, it also allows the both of them to avoid the sort of flak that Blair & Bush got over Iraq. It is, without doubt, a masterpiece of modern statesmanship. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Or could it be the American's are trying to help the UK out? Britain sold nerve gas chemicals to Syria 10 months after war began - Daily RecordMcCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."
