I vaguely remember at university there was some sort of expansion series? I should probably google it but I can't be bothered. It took me quite long enough to find the excel function for cosine. The Trig question? No need to work it out at all, remember your rules, or use a calculator, especially if given multiple choice.
The angle was greater than 45%, therefore the distance North would be less than half the distance travelled. Simple logic.Comment
