It was fairly enjoyable, but I wasn't that impressed. For a magic based thriller, it doesn't come close to The Prestige.

Went to an advanced screening of Rush last night which is the new Ron Howard film covering the story of James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Very enjoyable however I wished there was more racing in it but it captured the rivalry between the two very well.

Watched Below (2002) yesterday on DVD while scanning a book.

Seemed slightly turkeyish and B movie at the start; but the suspense soon built up, and in the end it turned out to be pretty good.

Carp but quite enjoyable. But downing that helicopter with his car was jumping the shark, and a bunch of hippos and crocs, in one bound.

Saw After Earth (2013) at the weekend. After a slightly shaky start, it was pretty good despite some distinctly dodgy and implausible premises.

Went to see Prisoners at the weekend.

A decent enough film. A bit slow in places, not the most surprising of endings, but enjoyable enough.

Not a film worth going to the cinema for, however, what with having to deal with "other people". The sort of film that would be good enough to watch at home on a Saturday evening.

Hangover 3. Funny, good close out to the series, usual story

The Internship. Funny middle aged men join as Interns at Google. Interesting as I was down there during the week

The Lone Ranger. Oh Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. It's not good is it. Way too long.
