it's a lose lose situation for the Egyptians. Unfortunately the Muslim Brotherhood took advantage of wining the election to impose a mafia style dictatorship over the opposition. In tourist places such as Luxor they were illegally shutting down bars, stopping the sale of alcohol. There are a lot of Christians in Luxor who have business, the Muslim Brotherhood were brutally imposing their ideology upon them. The army has taken advantage of the situation to seize power, they rely on US money to survive.

And Hindenburg the majority, it was Hitler's playing of Hindenburg that got him in. I think Hindenburg thought letting Hitler have a turn was better than letting the communists in, and Hindenburg was old.....

Need to re-read though, it's a very tortuous tale but Hitler never had the majority by legal/fair means...
