I knew my neighbours. In fact I would talk with them frequently.

Tolerance was a given, not just expected.

Had someone fallen upon an unfortunate circumstance you'd come to their aid, not just walk past.

When we spoke the world would listen.

The list goes on but I'll bet you'll be very hard pressed to find the knowledge of such qualities in the city.

It depends on you and your neighbours regardless of their ethnic background.

My neighbours are very helpful.

Then again not moving every six months helps.....
