If you were speeding for the sheer fun of it, it's much cheaper to take your car to an old airfield on a track day.

You only get three judges in the Royal Courts of Justice. What you had were three magistrates. Ie. Three untrained part time unpaid upper-class twatts who know FAOriginally posted by Jeebo72 View PostI got done at 125mph on the M6. Just got a 2 week ban and £500 fine. Get a lawyer. One of the 3 judges (the woman
) wanted to give me 6 points which would have (added to my 6) meant a 2 year ban. So get a lawyer to plead your livelyhood etc..."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

One friend of mine on mpsowners was caught doing 140mph for 5 miles by an undercover cop in a volvo. This was around midnight, so he was flooring it. He got a ban of 1 month, but nothing too severe. Depends on how you plead your case.I am Brad. I do more than the needful and drive the market rates up by not bobbing my head.Comment

Mine is timed 1/4 mile at night, cited for 100 in a 60. Again, I could live with a month.Originally posted by tranceporter View PostOne friend of mine on mpsowners was caught doing 140mph for 5 miles by an undercover cop in a volvo. Get legal representation NOW.
As others have said take a look at Pepipoo.
First offence makes **** all difference you are now a cash cow and about to be shafted for fun. (not yours I might add)
I got banned in 1997 first ever driving offence and at 1 in the morning. I got a 2 week ban and £700 fine with the added bonus that my insurance went through the roof. The unemployed bird with previous that went before me got a £50 fine for destroying a chaps brand new Audi while changing the tape in her boy freinds car she had no licence, insurance or tax and he had been done for DD the previous week which was why he was getting her to drive him to the pub...
