I find it a bit weird that an innocent person finds that a screw fly has laid maggots in her ear that will eat living tissue and eventually scoff her from the inside out, yet with all the wonders of modern technology we are at a loss when it comes to aiming a few flies at these two f*ckers ear holes

Maybe its me but I found this weird :

Det Insp Chris Hanson, of West Midlands Police, said Daniel's murder was "pre-planned and premeditated".

"He was beaten, he was drowned and he was poisoned with salt - it was an absolutely wretched existence," said Mr Hanson.

"The investigation has had a profound effect on us all.

"The team have fallen in love with this little boy and we have photographs of Daniel all around our office. We will never forget him."

Yet again social services stepped up to the plate and missed repeatedly, I hope they feel shame daily.

The review will look at why police and social services did not get involved after staff at Daniel's school - Coventry Little Health Primary School - noticed bruising on his neck and what appeared to be two black eyes.

Did the Dad not take him to hospital??

Eryk Pelka, Daniel's biological father, said: "It's a great tragedy that such a little angel had to leave this world.

Unfortunately we can't kill them, tempting though it is

Maybe if the step father had spent more time in Prison for DUI he wouldn't have killed this poor sod?

As AtW says, these scum will suffer more from a life in prison than from a quick clean death and although the chances of them being killed are small, it's almost certain they will get attacked by people who are sufficiently nasty to have been locked up for it. Some attacks will be from people who hate child kllers, some wll be sexually motivated and since we often lock up people with mental illness some attacks will have no cause that anyone can work out.

Fear is not a good place to live.

I doubt if it shocks anyone here that bullying is common in prisons and as they age they will be more vulnerable to it.

Healthcare in prisons is not excellent, certainly their life expectancy dropped hard when they were sentenced. The food is not optimised with respect to health, so although a serious acute problem would be handled pretty well, being an old prisoner with health issues is a long drawn out slow death.

30 years of misery is not enough, but is a good start.

The evidence is that people on death row have a better life in prison than ordinary prisoners. It's much less boring for a start, there is a long appeals process, this can go on for years and in the US, it is the case the violent criminals sentenced to death enjoy a considerably greater life expectancy than if they had stayed on the street.

That wouldn't apply so much in the UK, but trips to court, lawyers fussing round them is a lot more interesting than being stuck in a cell for 22 hours per day.

Also inevitably there is a strong possibility that the police framed them, or more likely "enhanced the evidence" meaning that the closer scrutiny and higher standard of proof you require to execute someone may mean that the case is shown to be unsound and the bastards walk free.

I hope so. I hope they suffer at the hands of their fellow inmates every day for the rest of their miserable lives.

As for the useless teachers, who could not have failed to notice the state he was in, and the doctors who took the word of his 'mother' that he looked so ill because of a rare eating disorder, without bothering to check or follow up, I hope they, at best, lose their jobs and rights to ever be involved in the care of children again. ***** the lot of them.

The mother and her husband? I'd shot the ****ers myself.
Social Services are a waste of time

I don't know if it's because I've become a mammy myself or what but I really struggle to read these things and cannot believe that anyone could do this to a defenceless child.
