Its not a ball, its an soldier and an Israeli soldier and they have a habit of looking after their own. Have to respect that.

That is assuming that this whole "kidnapping" is not just a massive pretext to invade Lebanon and take back the Gaza strip. But WTF would they want to do that. Sounds a bit like sh!tting on your own doorstep to me. Unless the kidnapping was a pretext to invade in order to stamp out the terrorist threat.

    Who knows?

Strange that few people who commented on this thread made any reference to what I first wrote about, which was the attack on the UN post.
Sadly unsurprising that criticism of Israeli military actions elicits accusations of anti-semitism.
Juvenile how people say with glee, that if the UN are in a war zone they must expect to be attacked.

Israel shelled around the UN post all day, while promising 10 times to stop. Then at the end of the day they finished it off with a precision missile attack. Has anyone missed the point that this was to send a message that nobody can stand in their way?

No figures - since it would be impossible to come up with one - short of knocking door to door around the whole of the Lebanon with a clipboard. Inevitably, I also see/hear reports on the news. Now, you're going to say - blah blah blah propaganda etc. etc. Then there's my personal thoughts and opinions............

I do know one thing though - if someone.....anyone took out my dad and brothers, I would dedicate the rest of my miserable life trying to eradicate the culprits.

I am a person. They are people. I guess it would be a good assumption that they are also currently planning to eradicate the culprits behind their misery.

Is it not a good assumption that 'support for Hezbollah seems to have grown and new recuits seems to be signing up to the cause at a new phenominal high.'?

Maybe this has something to do with it.

[8.15] O you who believe! when you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, then turn not your backs to them.
[8.16] And whoever shall turn his back to them on that day-- unless he turn aside for the sake of fighting or withdraws to a company-- then he, indeed, becomes deserving of Allah's wrath, and his abode is hell; and an evil destination shall it be.

Statistically speaking if you drop a bomb anywhere you're a one in four chance of hitting one, maybe that explains the short straw. Wonder how you'd put that one in a fortune cooky ...

Altough I would have thought that Bin Laden would have been wheeled out to give us a chilling message to peruade us to side with the forces of Light s like he did for Bush before the last election , but not to worry as Ive just read the following

Another new audio or video message from bin Laden was also expected in the coming days and was planned to deal with Gaza and Lebanon, according to said IntelCentre, a US-based independent group that provides counter-terrorism information to the US government and media.

So how come IntelCnetre who happen to supply the US govenment know that a Bin Laden tape and no doubt a fuzzy one, is expected ???!!!!
