I am not having another cat - I don't own it. It owns me. It obliterates the local wildlife then gives it to me as a present - well the intestines anyway. When my daughter actually tries to treat it as a pet and wraps it in a blanket to put in a pram it looks unhappy.

I think mantis shrimps can also see polarised light, i.e. stripes when the light such as sunlight is polarised.
