I (through him) was under the impression that this was proper contact?Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostSo he is now under the family law spell if he is pleased at that. He should have refused to move out until proper contact was agreed. And if she is unwell the kids should have been returned to the family home for him to look after.
At least on the plus side, he is smiling while taking a good kicking. Plenty more kickings to come.
She was claiming he was violent and she feared for her/the kids safety etc. I think that pretty much ended the chance of him getting the kids back regardless of her claiming she was ill.
The same sort of thing happened to my brother. She had an affair and walked out with the kids. Both kids said they wanted to move back with him but she refused and the court supported her. Eventually he had to sell the house and give her half even though she was shacked up with her new boyfriend. She still causes issues with him seeing the kids wheneve she can.Comment

As someone posted above, its like visiting prison. I would not want to put my kids through that.Originally posted by MyUserName View PostI (through him) was under the impression that this was proper contact?
While 1 in 4 women claim to have suffered DV, so do 1 in 4 men. In fact Mrs BP punched me once but I don't make an issue of it. A great pity then legally only women can suffer DV. And of coutrse violence does not have to be physical. It can be mental. e.g. control of spending. So if you askj her why she needed to buy 10 pairs of shoes when the kids aren't being fed then you are an evil mysognist who deserves to be lose access to the kids, all your savings and income while she runs off with the tennis coach.
No wonder guys stick to pron and pros. And if they have a relationship they do safe sex - give a false name and address.Comment

Is this really true? Is it statute or case law?Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostAs someone posted above, its like visiting prison. I would not want to put my kids through that.

I'm a bit disillusioned with all that. My little girl keeps waiting up to wish on the first star, won't tell us what she's wished for so as not to jinx it, and is then outraged the next morning that she isn't a flying unicorn princess.Originally posted by MaryPoppins View PostLink pinkies and make a wish, OG.Comment
