He has killed for fun, he collects child porn and other unpleasantness, ok he never got to Brady's level because they caught him fast due to CCTV, if he had been older and more calculating (just as he is now) he could easily go on a spree. This guy is very dangerous.

There are worse out there but he is bad enough that he should be locked up for life, if only for the public's peace of mind.

He was ten years old. What he did was truly shocking, moreso because he was so young.
But IMO you cannot lock someone up for life for something they did when they were ten.
I'm sure they'll keep an eye on him.

I remember reading a book on child killer Mary Bell. She killed a 3 year old and 4 year old by strangulation on two seperate occassions, mutilating the second when she was 10 and 11.

She server 12 years and left prison at 23, she went on to live a normal life having her own daughter at 27 and is now a grandmother. Only when reporters tracked her down years later did she have to flee and then had a lifetime anonymity order granted. If you read about her life then you would have had sympathy as opposed to a hang 'em high attitude.

Mary Bell was brutalised & abused from an early age, these two weren't. (I'm not sure Mary Bell deserves to be out, maybe removing her genes and attitudes from society would be wise)

I Personally don't want them out in society, they committed a pre meditated senseless murder and then followed through with an attempted cover up. If there had been a motive such as money or jealousy I could sort of understand but it was for kicks.
