    I used to pride myself on writing multithreaded C code and knowing how brk, sbrk worked so that I could work around naff malloc implementations.

    Now my idea of memory management is setting options on the JVM and buying some more when I run out.

    This makes me glum.

    In other news, who buys a poodle and calls it Simon?

      My sister just bought a groodle (golden retriever/poodle). She was going to call it BJ, but I pointed out the reasons that it might not be a good name. In the end, she called it Nevis.
