I find Basingstoke is vastly underrated as a place to live. Reading might just qualify for those commutes too.Comment

Ahh looking at Google maps for Swindon is getting me all nostalgic for last years gig... M4 Westbound late on a Sunday evening, the lights of Swindon twinkling in the distance as you come down the hill on the way to a Holiday Inn in Bristol..How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

The only problem with living in Reading is that you won't get a seat on the trains to or from Paddington in rush hour. And apparently on some trains there isn't enough standing room either.
The journey to Waterloo takes much longer."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Yes and yet the cost of that train ticket is more than a flight from Reading to London.
Peak hour train prices in this country is a fooking disgrace and no political party is willing to tackle it. They are all busy trying to prop up house prices.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment
