Indeed, just like CNN.com can't be pinged yet its alive website, or more specifically back then amazon.co.uk could not and can't be pinged, yet its alive. This is perfectly inline with what I said here yesterday.

AtW, a few of us have tried to access the website without success. I fully understand that lack of ping doesn't necessarily mean the site is down. It is you that is being abusive. I should leave the beer alone if I were you. It's starting to control your life.
