Yes, Nexus 10 looks good, but it is black and rubbery. I quite fancied white, (I like to get my priorities sorted) so thinking about the Samsung Galaxy tablet 2. The reviews on John Lewis are very favourable and it has an SD slot. One of the reasons for getting a 10" is to watch movies whilst staying away midweek,

Really daft question now remember my trade, but if I do not need to store very much is a 16gb any worse than a 32gb, or is the latter much better in other ways? Time to join the 10 year olds playing with the display at PC World on Saturday.

If you want to download telly / movies to watch later, go for 32GB

You won't get free 16 GB on a "16 GB" tablet...

If it takes an SD card, though, then you could well be better off saving that little bit of money and buying a 32GB (or bigger) micro SD card from eBay.

Samsung have just been hammered in the press for the S4 which they advertise as having a certain amount of memory, but lots of that is the OS and their standard crap you can't get rid of. The 16GB model has 9GB of usable memory (linky)

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Nexus 7 doesn't have a SD card but I just use an app called stickmount and a cheap connection and I can attach my external hard drive with all the content I need.

I backed the project on Kickstarter to buy one of these - Welcome to Meenova.com

$12 including shipping on KS, and should be here soon.

With the Nexus 10, you need to get a paid for app to read from an external USB device.
