I usually give noobs a rough post. just to make sure they can take it.
but only in general. If someone talks sh!te in the serious fora, it needs to be dealt with properly.

General is good for a bit of banter, however there is a clique that hunts in a pack, let's call them the tea-bagger party. Obvious pattern is when you out wit one of them (not that difficult) suddenly the usual suspects spray the thread with Ad hominem attacks and you get a nice Smörgåsbord of neg reps.
