    Why?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Do you think that tolerance of homosexuality leads to tolerance of incest?

And in 50 years time the case can be made by those who wish to and opposed by those who wish to oppose it. It won't happen because of gay marriage.

Presumably you would like to reverse all previous redefinitions of marriage throughout the whole of history? Or are we at the point of time when we have it absolutely right but in the past they had it wrong and no changes can be made in the future?

I think normalising it to the point of making marriage between 2 people of the same sex acceptable will lead to tolerance of all sorts in the future yes....

So we'll be able to marry our cats and dogs and pass some of our income on to them for tax purposes?

If both parties are consenting adults, what's wrong with incest? It's a taboo, but then so was homosexuality.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Why not? why should we stop at just same sex marriages?

For those who view marriage as a holy institution it makes just as much mockery to the institution to do that as it does to allow gays to marry.

I think most of us have a natural aversion to it, and there are obvious biological problems with inbreeding. However, I suspect there's a lot of it about.
