Saw it yesterday in 3D.
Good points;
Great special effects.
Lots of SF in-jokes and references.
I thought Kirk and McCoy were acted very true to the original.
Bad points;
Plot had holes big enough to drive The Enterprise through.
Daft script.
If you like Star Trek, you'll probably go and see it anyway. If you're a giant lizard however........my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Quinto was inspired casting he obviously loves being Spock and is rather believable at it.
Pine also looks good as tWC.
Gorn though defected to TBBT once you have been on Sheldon's couch there is no hope.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment
