Ok so I have a local map from the "Yellow sides" in front of me and your proposal is acceptable. I am writing it up tonight and will set out on my expedition in the morning.

Knock somebody's door, go down the local pub or whatever and just ask. As has been mentioned people are generally friendly and willing to help even if yer English.

I've asked taxi drivers and they've been happy to point me in the right direction. I don't need to ask for directions in Glasgow only when I'm away from home and it works every time.

Good idea, but again there isn't a local pub. I asked yesterday where all the pubs are and the response was "we don't really have any round here".

It's 10 O'Clock at night here so knocking doors ain't gonna go down to well. I leave for work before 7am so similarly.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

But a taxi seems eminently suitable until he works out a public transport route.

Bit harsh fella. Need to read between the lines

Suityou Enterprises is on it's last leg. I drove here in an 18 year old German automobile that has just developed a serious fault. We have no cash. Germany doesn't do credit cards. We have a 30 day payment policy with the agency on a monthly invoicing regime.

I DO NOT HAVE ANY ******* MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Advice is a fine thing but if it involves parting with coins I can't even help myself.

Pull the pole out of your keister.

Sorry I didn't realise you were skint.

I would not have said what I did if I had realised.

                  Please accept my apologies.

I ought to feel sorry for you but wasn't it you who a couple of weeks ago was boasting about his prowess in "technical analysis" on the stock market or currency markets or summat?

Funny how all these so-called experts like you, DP and Santa Clause end up skint.
                      Hard Brexit now!
